The Certification Secretariat is responsible for the overall delivery of all FIDO Certification programs. This includes Functional testing, certificate processing, trademark oversight, invoicing, and program oversight. Security Secretariat
The Security Secretariat is responsible for the management of the Authenticator Certification program. This includes reviewing and approving applications, questionnaires, monitoring security threats, and coordination with the accredited security labs. In addition, the Security Secretariat acts as an independent security expert for FIDO Authenticator Certification.

The Biometric Secretariat is responsible for the management of the Biometric Certification program. This includes reviewing and approving applications, lab evaluation reports, program updates, and coordination with the accredited biometric labs. In addition, the Biometric Secretariat acts as an independent biometric expert for FIDO Biometric Certification.

The Document Authenticity (DocAuth) Secretariat is responsible for the management of the Document Authenticity (DocAuth) Certification program. In addition, the DocAuth Secretariat acts as an independent identity expert for FIDO Document Authenticity (DocAuth) Certification.
